Further to Stefan's post I clicked on www.egg.com/branding and got a page
created for Greg Marks on 4th September 1998 - who he, I think we should be
told? My chosen user name was 'still waiting' ???

Addit, though personal, views :

Very pretty....but....

I never really liked splash screens and endless multimedia sequences - I
like to go in a find out what's the offering and tend to find ad sequences
uninspiring and irrelevant, especially in what is primarily a content based
site. Whilst the site remembers it's shown them once it scared me off going
anywhere else

I was a bit disappointed at how shallow the site is, it looks like all the
budget has gone into graphics and very little into info/services of any real
use or value

The reliance on text slots as graphics in 1st and 2nd levels means I have no
control over font settings/sizes, luckily I have reasonably good vision, and
didn't want to print. The sub-menu options are very hard to read.

As Azeem stated and others refer to

usability = nil point (IMHO)

- but, how happy all the Egg employees look! Shame there isn't a 'jobs'
section ;)
