A framed site counting 6 PIs per page would not be ABC compliant. A Page

Impression is simply 1 page of information actively requested by a user,

regardless of how many components go to make up that page. Therefore only

the frameset or one unique component for each page should be counted,

otherwise we might as well go back to quoting 'hits' which would be equally

meaningless.

But adding .jpg requests to log files would be noticable. Either


1) use Search and replace to replace any mention of .jpg with .html in the

log file.


2) Use Frames. An example I saw last week (wearing a different hat):-


a) Site uses frames and has five frames on the site.

b) Each requests calls the parent and a new frameset is requested. 1 page is

now 6 page requests. And your site with 85,000 page views a month now has

gone over teh magic 500,000 mark.
