I'm pretty sure it happens earlier each year, but maybe it's age. Policemen are all looking younger, too. The annual 'vote for me' fest that is the SXSW Panelpicker has opened its doors.

This year sees over 80 panels submitted from this side of the Atlantic from organisations big and small including the BBC, Iris Worldwide, FutureGov, TechHub, BBC, PeerIndex, mydeco, Somethin' Else, Madgex, Clearleft, The Economist and heaps more.

Hunting for a job can feel like a never ending cycle of CVs, applications forms and tears of desperation. Add to the mix, a diet of emergency biscuits and daytime TV and the job search could feel like a unique punishment inflicted on to the innocent.

With such fierce competition, marketing yourself online can help you to cut through the masses and become the victor. But where to start? Handily, we've come up with three easy ways of using social media to get ahead in the job hunting game.

It's that time of year - graduates are coming to the end of their university lives and school leavers are completing their final exams.  It's the perfect time to hire a fantastic intern - and we've noticed that many companies are already on the hunt.

We're big fans of intern programmes at Chinwag and have had a few successful candidates pass through Chinwag Towers.  We've recently seen such a strong interest, we've decided to gather the information together and summarise in a blog post, or something more industrial, if necessary.
