Taking place from 21st May to 1st June 2012, the second annual Digital Shoreditch Festival celebrates the world-class expertise within East London’s vibrant digital community.

The festival promises to showcase the most talented companies and brightest individuals within the digital and creative technologies sectors bringing together some of the best local, national and international minds. Speakers will include Andrew Gilbert, Executive Vice President, European Innovation Development at Qualcomm and Simon Acland, venture capitalist and author of the acclaimed Angels, Dragons and Vultures.

We thought we would give you a little taster of who you can expect to meet at Chinwag's Careers Day this month... With the likes of LBi, Bloomberg, Yammer and more, the day will be one you wont want to miss!

The fair is taking place on Wednesday 23rd May in the Digital Shorditch Big Top at Hackney House. The main 'big top' tent will be the exhibitor hall where you'll meet premier agencies, start-ups and brands, there'll also be a 'little top' tent, filled with how-to sessions, workshops and CV surgeries, so you'll have plenty to do.

Digital Shoreditch Festival 2012 is thrilled to announce the release of tickets for this 2 week festival of digital creativity with an expected 10,000 attendance! It brings together renowned leaders in digital taking place in more than 200 sessions from 21st May – 1st June.

The aim of the festival is to facilitate the wide spectrum of individuals and companies to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas through an extensive range of events and activities.

Each day of the festival will be themed, including Chinwag's Careers Day on May 23rd.

Come along and join us on Wednesday 23rd May for our Digital Careers Day, part of the Digital Shoreditch Festival 2012.

The day links leading employers to candidates seeking a career in the digital sector and gives HR professionals a unique opportunity to meet a large number of well-qualified candidates.

Job seekers will benefit from mentoring sessions, portfolio reviews and guidance offered by premier agencies, brands and start-ups. There will also be a networking lounge where recruiting companies and job seekers will be able to network, check emails, have a break and a chit chat.

We are very excited to announce the launch of Chinwag's first ever Careers Day on Wednesday 23rd May in association with Digital Shoreditch 2012 and supported by Vitamin T. 

Chinwag has teamed up with the lovely people at Digital Shoreditch to bring you the very first Chinwag Careers Day, focused around jobs in Digital. The day centres on getting a job and building careers including mentoring, CV/social media advice, portfolio reviews plus a careers fair featuring leading employers.
