You can import AI files exported from CorelDRAW just like you can import AI

files exported from Freehand. However, you're right. We miss out on some

excellent CorelDRAW features such as the transparency (that they stole from

Xara) and CorelDRAW's industry leading clipping feature: PowerClips.
