Good grief, how many times do we see this. Director and Flash are two

totally different apps. Even with the generator, Flash comes nowhere

near the sophistication of Director and Director comes nowhere near the

speed of Flash.


If Flash becomes a standard (And we are all praying hard on that one)

then with the new generator capabilities all the old arguments in favour

of Java over Flash just fade away. Now that is worth a big yip yip IMHO.

The only reason I will ever use Flash for standalone stuff is for quick

simple stuff that you can fit on a floppy.


For big serious productions, you still can't beat the lovely Lingo and

Dir 6.


Just my opinion, but it's the right one   ;)

	i think its alittle to early to be moaning about the price of

flash, ok

	its alot of dosh, but this package has the power to be a

	of MM. ok it dosent look like alot has changed. but belive me,

there is

	alot of power hidden within this little puppy. possibly more

time spent

	finding that power would be prudent before you bitch about the

price.
