Not sure, but I think to set a variable within a mc.

Set Variable "/mc:variable" = 100

Subject: FLASH: Passing Variables from Root Timeline to MC

Hi everyone.

I am trying to develop a Jeopardy like game. I want the person to be able
to
click the dollar amount (button on the main screen) displayed on the main
board,
have the system identify what category and dollar amount was displayed and
then
pass that variable to a MC to display the question associated with that
category
and dollar amount. I have a series of text files that will store the
questions,
so these would be loaded at the beginning of the game.

Once the question has been answered, I then need that dollar amount button
to
disappear off the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
