I like the Intuos line by WACOM.
They come in different sizes.

Both, I'd think... although I'm experiencing a major delay in getting one I
ordered online at Buy.com.
> 3. How are you using it? Draw freehand cartoons/pictures or are you using
it to trace inside flash?
I use it for practically anything I do on the computer that's art-related.

you think it would be worth it for extensive cartoon making?
If you can draw pictures with a brick, stick with your mouse. If you're like
the rest of us artists, go for the tablet. You'll wonder why you ever
waited...
