Subject: | scrolling through dynamic text in Flash. |

The thing I found most limiting about displaying dynamically generated
information (like stuff coming from a database) through a Flash GUI is when
you display a recordset with LOTS of elements in it - like a phone
directory.
See, I use my little "scroll" button on my mouse to scroll through large
quantities of information quickly...so, it bugs the heck out of me when I
can't "scan" through the information quickly... In Flash, with this type of
content, I really have to either press the keyboard, or hold the mouse
button down while my mouse is over the text field.
Has anyone found a way around this at all? To be able to use the scroll
button on Windows mouses (or mice?)?
Sincerely,
Bryan Ax
