Subject: FLASH: Detect options

Hi folks,
If you can offer some advice please do so. I am trying to create a page that will tell the viewer whether or not they have the plugin. Here is what I have now.

I have an html page with an invisible flash movie that has 10 frames. Frame 1 says to get url. This action I am hoping will work if the user has the plugin and flash is able to play.

I have a meta tag that refreshes the screen to go to another page after 15 seconds if the flash doesn't redirect the user first.

In this way I am hoping to send the user to the necessary page for them.

The problem is that it works fine in Netscape..but in Internet Explorer it does not work. Can anyone offer up some suggestions? I am fresh out of ideas...

Thanks in advance.
