Subject: FLASH: Streaming MP3 dramatically increases file size?!
From: Matthew Buchanan

I have added 15Kb of MP3 audio as a streaming soundtrack
and my original 35Kb SWF file has swelled to 80Kb! If I
run the audio as events rather than streaming, the size drops
to what it should be, around the 50Kb mark, but the synching
of the sound is unacceptable. Is this normal behaviour?

I'm presuming that by selecting streaming as the audio type,
Flash is having to store individual frames in my movie slightly
differently for synching purposes... anybody with any
comments/suggestions?

thanks,
