Actually, whenever DGL replies to a message his email program encodes the

previous message with a separator ("Microsoft Note") that comes across as

either gibberish or a scrap attachment to quite a few email programs

(Eudora, for sure at least), or, if you have a compatible email program, is

translated as the original message below your message.


There is a way to turn it off, but I can't remember, it depends on what

your email program is. It might be the "always use Rich Text Format" is

turned on.


Christian, regardless of his sarcasm, also gets this, but because he has

the either the same email program or one that's compatible (I venture to

guess it's one of the Microsoft variety) he thinks it doesn't exist.


It's not a big enough deal to dedicate a thread to, but some people, for

whatever reason, associate it with computer aptitude.
