Having the original tapes is very good, less generation loss and more

control over the basic work movies.

8fps can be jumppy if you have a high action clip but it's ok if you

have a stable background with a slow changing smaller foreground.

On quicktime streaming if you do get more results in please share.

Intel Indeo5 is OK but a bit of a pain to work.

RealVideo does have a steepish price but it's well know so the costs are

usually accepted by the customer.
