Hi Lisa, Good luck to you ! Nothing compares to being your own boss !
My advice : just dare to ask the price you think you are worth.
I started out as interactive designer / animator a few months ago.. I can
live of what I earn, but I am still struggling to get the right assignments
for the right money. I am now talking with other designers to join forces,
I have realized it is better to divide administration, aquisition ,
graphical design, interactive design, and animation - Personally I'd rather
be a good animator (be it Flash or Director or Maya ) than anything else,
and it is important to me to develop - so in order to keep earning money, I
must work on projects that I can develop and execute with others. That is
my goal for the present: grow and prosper !
