Subject: FLASH: drag movie clip questions
From: Helen Triolo
Date: Tue, 2 May 2000 01:21:25 +0100

I have an invisible button over a movie clip and the following code on
the button:

On (Press)
Start Drag ("upslider", L=755, T=17, R=755, B=355, lockcenter)
End On
On (Release)
Stop Drag
End On

I want the mc to only go up and down (not sidewise)--that's why
L=R=755. What happens when I try this is that I can drag the mc by
clicking the mouse and dragging, but when I let up the mouse, the mc
still moves up and down, following the mouse. The release isn't
working. I tried with lock center and without--no change. When I tried
this same thing on a constrained rectangle with some width, it worked
ok. What am I not seeing?

2) Can a mc be dragged in any other way than having an invisible button
over it?

Thanks for any ideas,
Helen
