<snip> Can anyone give me some quick and easy instructions on creating a
motion path for a tweened animation? <snip>

Thanks,
Marie
================================================
1. open flash
2. select oval tool
3. select line color
4. check box (located in upper left hand corner) on palette flyout
5. make small oval in upper left hand corner of stage
6. select arrow tool
7. click on oval
8. click on insert/convert to symbol
9. name it ball and select graphic radio button
10. click on frame 90 of timeline
11. insert keyframe at 90
12. click on ball and drag it to lower right stage corner
13. double click middle of timeline
14. click tweening tab on flyout
15. select motion in tweening box and click on ok
16. click on add guide layer (this button is located just left of the
timeline between the garbage can and the add layer button
17. click on frame 1 of the guide layer just created
18. select pencil tool
19 draw motion path from ball located in upper left hand stage area to where
the ball would be if you could see it in the lower right hand stage area
20. select arrow tool
21. click on ball in upper left hand stage area and move it just off stage.
Click it again on the crosshair and move it towards the beginning of the
motion path line. You will see an outline of the ball this time and a small
circle in the center of the ball which will snap to the beginning of the
motion path as you near it. (this is providing that you have snap selected
under the view menu.
22. click on frame 90 of layer 1 (the ball layer) in the timeline. You will
now see the final ball position. Repeat moving this ball just off stage and
then snapping it back to the motion path end point just like you did in # 20
ABOVE.
23. click on control and then test movie......the ball will animate along
the path you have drawn!

That's the quick and dirty

OVER AND OUT ....
