If it is for an off-line project I might just have what you're looking for
at http://swifftools.com. It's a new tool I'm working on called SwiffCANVAS.
It gives you ways of using system date & time within your projector amongst
a lot of other things.

For now it's still private beta, but I hope to release the public beta any
time soon.

There's a demo available for download at the address mentioned above.
