Interesting -- I never tried exporting from Flash and importing to
Illustrator. But you're right, it works fine exporting image as
Illustrator 6 and opening in Illustrator 8. I also tried (just to see
what would happen) exporting as an EPS and opening in Illustrator -- it
did horrible things to the gradient (a bunch of bands and each one a
separate symbol on ungroup). Well, thanks Jason and John for
clarifying.
