Subject: Re: FLASH: Printing (graphically) to a file

Do you really need to save a graphic to the file, or would it
be enough to write just the plain text info to the file to be
loaded later for printing? I think that would be more
manageable.

I don't know what platform you're on, or if you're talking
about the web or through a projector, but I'm assuming a
projector on a PC (since you are talking about EXEs). In
that case you can load your Flash movie into an activex
control in VB or Delphi and use FSCommand to send and
retrieve info from the windows app. The app could easily
read and write files.

Otherwise I really can't think of a way to add that
functionality with just pure Flash. There may be some
printer driver with a 'write to disk' feature, but I don't know
of any.

HTH!
