James,
Using NS 4.74 on a PC (therefore the most up to date NS browser
available) your site was inaccessible. I would suggest using
cross-browser DHTML in your page - or not using DHTML at all ;-)

As far as search engine optimisation goes, you could insert an alt tag
for the main body text on your front page (which I was allowed to see
using IE 5.5 on a PC) or use text rather than an image for this element.
This would be a start. I guess you werent asking in relation to your own
corporate site, but every little bit helps ;-)

If your userAgent detection script on the front page disallows surfers
based on their user agent string, it is very unlikely your site will be
indexed at all - all spiders have a unique User-Agent string and will be
bounced to your 'upgrade' page. I am not going to give away all our
indexing strategies in one email though, so I'll stop there before Aidan
gives me a foot whipping...

Regards
