This is rife in the industry at the moment. We have people claiming to be
from another of Scient's offices ringing up and demanding a list of people
in that office as they've lost their list. For reasons I won't name it was
pretty obvious a recruiter trying to work out who is here. There are many
agencies in the UK with bad enough reputations already ('no I don't want to
code C++ in Birmingham') without relentless head hunters adding to the mix.
