UKNM: gameplay

Did anyone else try and get into gameplay to take advantage of the "Buy Tomb

Raider 4 for �1 between 1 - 2 pm today" offer? I'd love to know if anyone

actually managed it.....


Never one to pass up a bargain I was ready and waiting at 1.01pm only to

find that the server had fallen over. I tried for the whole hour to get in

but alas, it seems gameplay had come up with a great offer but were

completely unable to cope with the demand as the site was permanently

unavailable. 


Did they not look at the BOL giveaway last year and make notes? Naivety and

/ or lack of preparation is hardly an excuse when this kind of thing has

been done before. 


I've shopped at gameplay before and usually find they offer a really good

service but I don't think this particular marketing ploy will have won them

many admirers.
