An interesting insight into this dotcom advertising discussion: The E
Millioniare Show, other than being, as Gary pointed out, a breath of fresh
air in the way that it highlights the positive aspects of the dotcom world
(did you SEE Panaroma last week? Jeez!) did you notice that some big
advertising names (like Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising) are getting
involved and have been designing poster ads and, eventually, TV ads, for
each idea? Should make an interesting insight into how different agencies
approach dotcom advertising, so I for one will be keeping a close eye on the
show for this reason! So what if it reflects the sort of scenario we witness
every night in the pub? Surely THIS is where the appeal lies?!
