Sometimes it's best to acknowledge when you're doing badly, as
obviously the audience are fully aware. I also feel there is nothing
wrong with laughing at a good heckle, rather than stubbornly try to
outsmart someone. A lot of new acts would do well to acknowledge how
the audience is feeling towards them .If they don't like you and
you're not getting any laughs what so ever, acknowledge it, cut it
short and save everyone the pain.
