I've also had a similar experience with ukaffiliates. Again, a reasonably

well put together pitch with the price kept for the very end..so much for

'payment on results marketing'...still, this aside I felt I needed more

detail to be able to justify this distribution route to my client, so ,as

Keith, asked my rep' to provide me with details of affiliates.....and not

even a list.....all I wanted was a geo' & sector breakdown....the response ?

we can't release that to 3rd parties, however all members will be given

details when they join [or after you've given them at least �10k....which is

the least you'd spend in year 1 with the monthly management fee included]


I also queried them as to the number of affiliates...in their sales &

marketing bumpf they claim they had 9,200 affiliates at launch, and they

would have 25,000 within 3 months from launch - well, they launched 2.5

months ago and it would appear that they may be having some difficulty

reaching this desired target - or am I just being really picky / misinformed

?


Maybe it's just me, but if you're going to try to sell someone a particular

audience and service, surely you should show them exactly what they are

getting ? ".Dear Mr Client, please buy some advertising on my site. It's a

really great service, but I'm not going to tell you who you're advertising

to..." - doesn't quite work does it ?


Finally, I, like Keith, am still waiting [10 days later] for a response to

my email (the first one took 7 days..). Makes me wonder what sort of service

my client would get if I _did_ sign them up......
