Subject: Re: UKNM: great ad, bad marketing?

Is it geeky or is it focused advertising?

People into the internet and its communities are likely to know who Mahir
is, and can guess that smart groups should be about creating communities.
For me the most distinctive factor of this ad compared with other dotcom ads
is its emotional and human tone. Mahir succeeded in communicating with the
entire world without perfect English (but imperfection is an old school
internet value!) and with humour and openness.
