If you are using LM for non-web animation, thats perfectly cool... and what
LM is good for. But for web production I honestly can not see using LM since
it is so web-unfriendly. Yes, it can do some cool things, but at what size
cost? I can't even say since there is no way to find out!! You are right
in saying that LM is a tool, that it is. I personally put it in the ranks
with Swift3D and that Swifty program... they are add-ons to Flash... they
can help yes, but only in limited ways. The biggest problem is the inabilty
to share SOURCE files between those programs and Flash... If there was an
intermediate format to bring from outside programs into Flash, them LM would
stand much higher in my eyes. But for now, LM is good for cool looking
animation where bandwidth is not much of an issue.

Hi Branden,

I love using Flash and agree with all you say. But not all my output goes
to web, so it's not entirely relevant. Obviously, as I get more experience
with LM I'll find where it works and where it doesn't. My point is simply
to use a little ingenuity to develop your OWN production processes, and
keep your mind open as to what tools might help you out. What's flawed
about that theory?

>From what I can see right now, LM looks to be a nice addition to the
toolbox. Opinions will be formed and clarified through experience.
