This is an alternative, depending on what effect you want to do. One of the
sites I assisted on has a very cool effect using javascript and dhtml,
allowing you to shake the entire browser.
you can see it demonstrated at
www.earth-quake.net
and if you click on the earth-quake in the upper left hand corner it will
shake again for you... you can also extend the amout of time that it shakes
in the javascript.
