Thanks for your in depth answer to this problem.  I had followed a

tutorial for this type of drop target getproperty action.  I didn't

make alot of sense to me why it should work either but it did at least

in a level 0 movie.  Your method and explanation makes much more

sense.  I will get to work and change the scripting.
