FLASH: Keep It Clean

I have a Freehand 8 doc that I want to take directly into Flash 3. When

I attempt to do this either from copy & paste or Flash's import

function, Flash trashes the border/edges. I'm trying to avoid using

Fireworks, and would like to retain my clean lines & edges.

Do any of you have any great suggestions or design secrets for this

issue.
