UKNM: New Media PR

In my dark and distant past of being technology writer for Teletext for five

years (and currently still doing some freelance writing in my spare time), I

was impressed by the following people who know their stuff as well as

throwing some good parties....


1. Lisa Hulme (ex Text 100, ex Virgin Net and now big cheese for her own

agency Big Mouth)- can't locate a Web address but

they do PR for Ginger Online, Virgin Mobile...


2. Flapjack  -  www.flapjack.com   they've worked with many start-ups and

are very good and have a very good understanding of the industry.


3. Harvard - www.harvard.co.uk  well established with lots of blue chip

firms


4. Midnight -  www.midnight.co.uk  - nice bunch of people based in Brighton

and I understand now have a London office.


5. Gnash  - www.gnash.co.co.uk - around for ages and know their stuff


Above all choose a firm that understands the industry and has contacts in

all the off-line and online publications.
