Now if anyone was reallly clever, they would put money into developing a
cold box to go outside people's front doors that could be openened with a
universal key and a particular one so it wouldn;t matter whether you were in
or out when the tesco (oops) man delivered, they'd just pop it in your box.
A letter box for food if you will.....the next "must have" for the high
spending internet generation? (Ok sorry, feeling a bit crazy today...)

I'm convinced the answer will come, and will be something that is
revolutionary rather than evolutionary. Some of the "collection point" ideas
from the US look interesting but still seem to be fundamentally flawed.
Ironically whenever I order something for delivery to my home I seem to end
up taking a "we tried to deliver a parcel to you" card down to the sorting
office so why not cut out the middle (post) man and just leave it there for
me in the first place?

Or is it even more of an irony that no-one can successfully deliver a
fulfillment solution?
