After the Game On! Games and Brands panel, sponsored by Nokia and JWT, on Weds 9th February as part of Social Media Week London, we caught up with Mark Hindle, Communications Manager at Nokia UK.

After Social Media Week London, we asked all attendees to complete a survey telling us about their experiences and thoughts.  As a 'thank you', all those who took the survey were entered into a prize draw.  Prizes were generously provided by our sponsors, Nokia, Kodak and Microsoft Advertising.

Metabridge BC June 2011 will take place over 2 days in British Columbia, Canada, bringing together entrepreneurs and their growing software and online technology companies from Silicon Valley, Canada and the UK.  Amongst the delegates will be Disney Online and Facebook.

The event is designed to create new partnerships, and collaborative projects and assist companies who have been in business and are on a growth spurt and are looking to access the US and Canadian markets more intelligently by meeting and creating potential collaborators who are in that market already.

The event is open to 5 UK companies, who will be selected via a short-list process and will then get to go and join the event.  You'll have to be quick to make the short-list, find out more below.

After The "Friend" Close: Social Sales Panel, which took place during Social Media Week on Wednesday 9th Feb 2011, we managed to grab both Jonathan Mann, Head of Marketing and Hristina Hristova, Social Media Planner at Groupon UK to talk about the panel, social sales and Groupon.

Social Media Week London generated so much coverage that it's taken us a little while to pull together all the information. This review brings together the video, photos and coverage from "From Silicon Roundabouts to a Silicon World over Breakfast", hosted by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).

The breakfast event helped attendees to find out more about using social media and communities to develop international business. UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) are a UK government organisation that help UK firms build their export business.
