Hi Klyve,

>From one newbie to another: This just happened to me to. Appearently the file type is not a wav type that Flash understands. Maybe it is compressed too much or have a bitrate that Flash cannot handle. Or in the worst case, it is not even a wav but an MP3 disguised as wav (SoundForge 4 can generate MP3 compression and give the output file the .wav extension. Plays under Win Media Player).

What you need to do is make sure it's a valid wav file. Open it in your sound processing tool and convert/save it with a "normal"/better bitrate. The sound may not improve in audio quality, but Flash will recognise it and give its own compression upon export.
