Could you ask him about the implications on the Internet of evolutionary
robotics and artificial life, please? At what point does he think that the
Internet could support more sophisticated forms of life than viruses? How
long after that point would he expect to see such life-forms? What sort of
degradation in the network would be acceptable to users, and what level
would bring people to commit program genocide on them? Once loose in the
wild could they ever be defeated or contained? And how long after that would
the little buggers become self-aware?
