Hi all,


When making a CD it should not be a choice of Flash or Director but

rather Flash only or Director using Flash (at least for those who have

Flash and vector design skills).


If you are using a lot of video and/or bitmaps Director is a very good

choice. Director 7 has many major improvements and makes working with

Flash 3 content easier. Director especially D7 allows easy merging of

Flash vector content with the raster formats. Those who don't have

Director should consider getting Director 7 or working with someone who

has Director if their project has major use of bitmaps or video. Of

course not everyone has the budget to purchase Director 7 but if you do

a lot of CD work this is something you should have on your new tools

list.


Brad's point was some things are just done better and easier with

Director than with Flash. Most (not all) CD projects fit this bill.
