Well, I did most of what Frederico suggested before I installed the full

version of Flash 4. I had *big* problems with the demo download.


(I ended up reformatting the drive, installing an apple driver, clean

installing OS 8.1 and most applications).


I bit my tongue yesterday since I'm not free of guilt: I don't own

conflict catcher (which I have not had a need for in a *long* time!).


But I have 2 suspects (on my Mac, the usual ones):


TwinTurbo Extension and/or Type Reunion.
