Calling All Employers & Job Hunters: Chinwag's Careers Day during #SMWLDN Sept 2012
During Digital Shoreditch last May, Chinwag held a very successful Careers Day where employers such as Bloomberg, Mozilla Firefox, Financial Times, LBi, Unruly Media, Beyond, Yammer and more were able to meet top candidates and showcase their companies and vacancies.
On top of meeting fantastic brands and agencies, candidates were able to take advantage of a programme of advice sessions including CV Surgeries, Portfolio Reviews & Creativity Workshops.
The day was a huge hit with 23 brands exhibiting, 20 mentors, 100+ individual advice sessions, 120+ workshop delegates and 1000+ job seekers through the door. Check out the event highlights, top tips and advice from our mentors & sponsors here.
After recieving such great feedback during and after the event we decided that we'd love to do it all over again, and what better time than during this September's Social Media Week London.
Taking place on Friday 28th September, Chinwag's Careers Day will once again offer a brilliant opportunity for employers to meet candidates and recruit new colleagues, whilst candidates will be able to meet top brands and leading agencies looking for new recruits, and boost their job-hunt with a fantastic programme of advice sessions & workshops.

We are currently looking for a permanent Data Planner. The right person for this role will have proven experience of generating data driven, actionable insight to inform communications strategies. You’ll have worked on campaigns from segmentation, selections and testing strategies through to evaluation. You’ll bring with you a passion for data, amazing attention to detail with strong analytical and strategic skills. As one of our internal experts you’ll also need to share you wisdom as part of our Good Academy programme. We are currently seeking experienced content strategists and digital editors within reach of London to join our friendly and supportive team of associates working on financial, public-sector and other projects. We help our clients by redesigning and maintaining their websites, delivering large-scale content migrations, and devising strategies that enable them to reach their audience efficiently and cost-effectively. We also provide content audits, copywriting, social media consultancy and SEO. Digital editors will be comfortable working in partnership with UX and design teams, clients and content owners; they should be able to demonstrate the range of skills needed for effective content handling: proven copyediting and proofreading expertise proficiency with content management systems and the use of metadata sound editorial judgement plus a good grasp of website structure and accessibility the ability to write for a range of channels and apply SEO experience with content migrations and repurposing a clear, accurate writing style.
