Careers Day @ Digital Shoreditch: Great Staff, Top Jobs - Get Involved
Come along and join us on Wednesday 23rd May for our Digital Careers Day, part of the Digital Shoreditch Festival 2012.
The day links leading employers to candidates seeking a career in the digital sector and gives HR professionals a unique opportunity to meet a large number of well-qualified candidates.
Job seekers will benefit from mentoring sessions, portfolio reviews and guidance offered by premier agencies, brands and start-ups. There will also be a networking lounge where recruiting companies and job seekers will be able to network, check emails, have a break and a chit chat.

Open to all organisations hiring staff directly, including digital agencies, brands and technology companies of all sizes. Support the sector and help candidates through mentoring, portfolio reviews, practice interviews and CV advice.
Job Seekers
Candidates will include final year students, graduates and those looking to move jobs. The day will provide opportunities to meet a range of employers, improve interview techniques, receive portfolio reviews and network with attendees.

We are currently looking for a permanent Data Planner. The right person for this role will have proven experience of generating data driven, actionable insight to inform communications strategies. You’ll have worked on campaigns from segmentation, selections and testing strategies through to evaluation. You’ll bring with you a passion for data, amazing attention to detail with strong analytical and strategic skills. As one of our internal experts you’ll also need to share you wisdom as part of our Good Academy programme. We are looking for someone to come in on a 6 month contract. You will need to have managed the full digital process from scoping through to build, testing and deployment on a wide variety of projects using MS Project. You will have successfully built websites, banners, email and social media campaigns for budgets ranging from £10 to £100k. We are currently seeking experienced content strategists and digital editors within reach of London to join our friendly and supportive team of associates working on financial, public-sector and other projects. We help our clients by redesigning and maintaining their websites, delivering large-scale content migrations, and devising strategies that enable them to reach their audience efficiently and cost-effectively. We also provide content audits, copywriting, social media consultancy and SEO. Digital editors will be comfortable working in partnership with UX and design teams, clients and content owners; they should be able to demonstrate the range of skills needed for effective content handling: proven copyediting and proofreading expertise proficiency with content management systems and the use of metadata sound editorial judgement plus a good grasp of website structure and accessibility the ability to write for a range of channels and apply SEO experience with content migrations and repurposing a clear, accurate writing style. Content strategists should have a practical understanding of how the editorial workstrand fits into complex digital projects, and be able to set up and carry out audits and content analyses as well as SEO and competitor research. The role involves translating business requirements into usable and intuitive on and off-line designs for a variety of pre- and post-launch products for a professional scientific audience. Aspects of this role include creating wireframes for new features and sections, graphical interface design, and ensuring that styles and colours are consistent across all F1000 product lines. Utilising a high standard of creative skills to support the Senior Designer, you will also ensure business priorities, objectives and messages are translated into effective design concepts which are audience appropriate and form the basis of successful marketing activities.
