BBC Placements for Grads in the North West
Hot on the heels of the digital placement program, news reaches us of another initiative in the North West for recent graduates looking for careers in the interesting world where new media meets TV and radio, North West b.TWEEN TV Platforms.
The programme aims to find,
"...talented individuals who combine great software skills with creative flair and who want to work with world-class content enhanced by the latest technological developments"
To qualify, the judges are looking for prototype product ideas based on web technologies that will work on a TV screen and using BBC programming to drive the product.
The digital industry in the North West appear to be launching job initiatives thick and fast, but what about the rest of the country? If you know of others, do let us know or leave a comment below.
Sadly there's no cash available but the opportunity to work with the BBC and leading digital players in the North West can't be a bad thing for anyone's CV. It's a shame the scheme is only open to recent or about-to-be graduates.
